The Society invited Distinguished Lecturers to its meetings from
1988 through 2000. In 2001, we began presenting the Lifetime Achievement
Award. The Board determined that all prior Distinguished Lecturers
are to be presented with the award. The recipients are not required
to and often do not disclose the topic of their presentations prior
to their lecture.
